Katwijk Beach Labyrinth Walk Aug. 9th

Due to the anticipated overcrowding on Dutch beaches, and the Prime Minister’s strong encouragement to avoid crowded areas, this labyrinth walk is canceled. The early morning walk on August 16th will go ahead as planned.

You are invited to a labyrinth walk on Katwijk beach Sunday, August 9th anytime between 2 and 4 p.m.
Labyrinth walking is an ancient practice used by many different traditions for spiritual centering, mindfulness in motion. Walking the labyrinth is an opportunity to notice your noticing, gently let go of thoughts and feelings that may be holding you back or meditate on new ways of being your ideal self. A labyrinth walk can be also be healing path in times chaos or transition.
Kimberly will offer guiding words to help each person enter and experience the labyrinth with gentle intentionality. Afterwards Kimberly will offer time to explore thoughts and feelings encountered on your walk.
Join us any time between 2-4 p.m. and depending on your purpose and pacing walking the labyrinth can take anywhere from 10-30 minutes. There is no right or wrong way to walk a labyrinth.
Wear comfortable for you clothes for a breezy afternoon at the beach and don’t forget your sunscreen. Participants will walk the labyrinth with bare feet. Please bring a bottle of water and a beach blanket if you would like to relax before or after the walk.
The labyrinth will be ready for walkers at 2 p.m. and Kimberly will host participants until 4 p.m., but feel free to walk the labyrinth as long as it lasts in the sand.
