“I have met with but one or two persons in the course of my life who have understood the art of Walking, that is, of taking walks, -who had a genius, so to speak, for sauntering.” – Henry David Thoreau
Join us for a slow saunter around the beautiful city of Leiden. We will explore the newly completed Singlepark through urban and park landscapes while taking the time to notice our noticing.
This is fun event with no agenda, no programming and no fee. Just a good old fashioned saunter with friends.
This is also a fair weather event, so please RSVP so we can stay in touch in case we need to cancel. Participants will be notified no later than a two hours in advance should cancellation be necessary.
We will meet at the Zijlport and leave no later than 14:10.
• Be Prepared
Dress comfortably for walking on natural terrains. Bring a water bottle, but little else so you are unencumbered for your walk. Participants are always invited to silence and pocket their phones, so let folks know you will be unavailable for a couple of hours.
All participants of any of VrijSpirit activities are personally responsible for their own fitness, safety and welfare and must be equipped accordingly.
